• After the incredible success with the soprano LESLEY GARRETT, SILVA CLASSICS presents the new album from Chilean-born TITO BELTRAN - one of the NEW GENERATION of exciting tenors and star of the 1993 CARDIFF SINGER OF THE WORLD competition.

• Through appearances in opera productions in South America, The United States, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria and Denmark, Tito has become one of the rising stars of opera.

• TITO is already gaining a large and an enthusiastic British following after concert and opera appearances in London, Leeds, Cardiff, Dublin and Belfast.

• Tito made his first appearances at COVENT GARDEN in their 1995 productions of DER ROSENKAVALIER and LA BOHEME. Future appearances there include ROMEO AND JULIETTE, and a return in DER ROSENKAVALIER

• Tito's Musical Director, PAUL BATEMAN is renown for his work in the Classical and Cross-Over markets, having arranged and conducted albums for LESLEY GARRETT and SARAH BRIGHTMAN

• For A TENOR AT THE MOVIES, Paul Bateman has recreated the authentic orchestrations from the 1950's for a special tribute to THE FILMS OF MARIO LANZA: which Tito performs in Lanza's original, dynamically challenging keys, including the classic love song "BE MY LOVE". As well as providing new arrangements for "Where Do I Begin", "The Second Time", "Granada" and the first Spanish vocal recording of "My Heart Will Go On" from TITANIC.

• Symphonic accompaniment is provided by the Award-winning Film Music specialist orchestra - THE CITY OF PRAGUE PHILHARMONIC with the CROUCH END FESTIVAL CHORUS.
