Bio
A native of Switzerland, singer-songwriter Myriam Audrey Nydegger, p/k/a Mya Audrey, graduated from the prestigious Academy of Music in Bern, as well the Berkley School of Music in Boston. She has toured internationally and performed at the MIDI festival in Shanghai and the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
With comparisons to Norah Jones, Diana Krall and Fiona Apple, her warm voice and lyrical piano music embody her travels, encounters and observations. Her new album "Wayfaring Trails", produced by Swiss duo Luk Zimmermann & Dave Muther, includes collaborations with many well-known names on the German Musikzene such as Roy Knauf (Deichkind / Seeed), Thomsen Merkel (Mark Forster / Julia Mercell)) and Marcel Römer (July / Boy).
